The rules are simple:

You can nominate as many stories as you like, but when the voting starts you will only be able to vote once. If we are in a situation where there is a draw, then we will run a tie breaker which will be announced on this site, and on as many lists as we have access to.

NB - If any author does not want their stories to be entered into the awards, please let us know and we will place a note to this effect on the nominations pages. If we don't hear from you, we'll presume that you don't mind being nominated.

Any Skinnerfic going back to the dawn of time is eligible. Any story currently on a website at the end of the nomination period is eligible. After that time, only nominated stories will go through to the final voting.

The Wirerims Committee reserves the right to refuse nominations for fic that it does not deem to be Skinnercentric. We hope this won't happen so please observe the spirit of the awards. There are plenty of awards out there for Mulder and Scullyfic, and Krycek, Spender, and even Pendrell have had their own awards! These awards are just for Skinnerfic. If in doubt, do by all means nominate, but please don't take offense if we turn a story down. The Committee will make no value judgment on whether they personally like a story - it will only be turned down if it isn't deemed Skinnercentric enough. Even-handed fic, where Skinner has equal prominence with another character is fine, and to be expected, but he must play a significant role in the story.

The decision of the Wirerims Committee is final. These awards are for fun and to promote good Skinnerfic in all its many wonderful guises. We hope this site will be on the must-visit list of Skinnercentrics everywhere, as a guide to what is truly the best in Skinnerfic on the web.
